Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept

Bugatti is an infamous name in the automobile world...building some of the most exotic and expensive automobiles ever built. The new Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept if produced will be the most exclusive and powerful four door production vehicle ever made. Bugatti anticipates that the Galibier will produce approximately 1000 pound feet of torque with a top speed of 240 mph.

The design is exceptional and done by Bugatti exterior designer Achim Anscheidt....accented by the polished aluminum. The rest of the bodywork is fabricated out of tinted carbon fiber. The chassis is constructed of aluminum and carbon fiber.

The interior is exceptional with the burled walnut console running between the front and rear of the interior. The dash has only two gauges visible the speedometer and the tachometer. The rest of the gauges are viewed thru an LCD screen.

The name Galibier comes from a French Alpine pass that typically has been used for Bugatti's four saloons (sedans). Pricing has not been determined but if produced will be approximately $1.8 million dollars.

A very beautiful exotic......with a price to match!

WOW! What a look that is. A bit out of our price range right now, but oh how beautiful that car is. Thank you Peter for sharing this one with us. What a treat. 2. Hi Dan & Deanna,

The Galibier looks to be an exceptional car....actually I would love to drive one. It is slightly above my price range at the moment...but I would probably not buy one in any event.

I would spend the money on a fleet of collector cars and or exotics and have a wonderful time driving them!

Thank you for your kind words!

  5. Yay .. that is some car ..I know it's late here ... but please come over and take me for a ride... and does it come in scarlet red?

Hi Pete - it looks a blinking miracle - lovely!! Only a concept .. oh well gives me time to save ..a mere $1.8m .. at least it's not £1.8m.

I love the second picture .. it looks as though it's got such an amazing vista .. almost as a pilot would view from it. The same applies to the LCD screen I guess ..

    Looks beautiful!! Cheers Hilary Melton-Butcher

  6. Hi Dan & Deanna,

As much fun as I would have with this car....I think that a fleet of collector cars would be grand. This is a car for the super rich where cost is not a consideration.

    Best Regards

  7. Hi Dr. Bob,

That was a funny joke! Although, this car would be subject to the gas guzzler tax.

There was some people in the Bugatti community that are concerned about green vehicles. So, the perception of driving a gas guzzler is on their minds.

People that drive this car are not concerned about gas prices! But, it would be fun to drive fabulous cars like this Bugatti.

    Thank you for your comment!

  8. Hi Hilary,

It is a beautiful example of an automobile! At this price...I would expect Bugatti to mix a custom exterior color paint personally for you! Obviously, you would have to inspect the plant!

There are only hundreds of Bugatti's made so it is a very exclusive club!

    Thanks for your comment!
