About Me

My photo
Peter Baca
My purpose is to give you the hope that you can deal with this this difficult and misunderstood disease. I have personally experienced the difficult impact of this debilitating disease. I have FSH, Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, which is a common form of muscular dystrophy. Yes, I deal with it every day just like many of you! I have made substantial progress in managing this disease and family and friends have suggested that I share my knowledge. So, I thought, why not blog to help other people deal with the substantial physical and financial impacts. When I decided to do the blog, I thought it would be good to give a personal view of the challenges involved, therefore it is very personal. Muscular dystrophy can be very severe and have a very pronounced impact on the person that has it. So, I thought I should outline that struggle to give everyone a better understanding of the disease.
